Bill, his wife Becky and their three daughters have enjoyed living in Charleston since a Bell South relocation brought them here from their home in the South Carolina upstate. Through his work in corporate and community relations in the region, as well as restoring an 18th century home in the Historic District, Bill has developed a great appreciation for the unique quality of life that makes Charleston a special place to live and work. He has been actively involved with the economic development of the area not only through his career, but also through service on the boards of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber, World Trade Center-Charleston, Trident Urban League, and the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Bill is actively involved in the many cultural and community service aspects of the region through volunteer work with the boards of the United Way, Communities in Schools, Charleston Symphony Orchestra, and other not-for-profit organizations. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Charleston and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Bill and his family are members of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church.
